Sliced Head Image

The goal for this project was to create an image of a sliced head with an appropriate background image, so I decided to have some fun and integrate the sliced head into a dynamic scene. I wanted the head and background photo to be interacting in some way, so I looked for background images that would imply action. The head was first taken from a stock image and then sliced in a way to still retain recognizable features, with a fill added to make the head appear sliced and slightly red, but without unnecessary gore. The background image of the fencer interacts with the sliced head, creating a full scene with depth of field.
